Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor for our Northallerton store. The role supports daily store operations, leads team members, and deputises for the Store Manager when needed. Part-time hours total 24 per week over 3 days, with some weekend shifts on a rota basis.

The successful candidate will help with displays, stock rotation, pricing accuracy, and delivering high levels of customer service. 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience in daily retail operations and customer service.
• Ability to assist in training retail colleagues and cashiers.
• Proactive in stock rotation, pricing checks and shop floor presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in day-to-day running of the store.
• Deputise in absence of the Store Manager (key holder).
• Support training of retail colleagues and cashiers on the shop floor.
• Work on store displays, stock rotation and put away items.
• Keep up-to-date with products, services and promotions.
