Job summary

Haskins Garden Centres in the South of England is recruiting a part-time Customer Service Assistant to work 8 hours every Saturday. You will be the first and last point of contact for customers, processing sales at the tills and responding to enquiries with a friendly and timely approach.

The role includes cash handling, helping customers with product availability, wrapping and packing, and supporting trolley portering.

Qualifications

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a warm, welcoming attitude.
• Ability to work at a steady pace to provide swift, polite service at checkouts.
• Full training provided; previous retail experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process sales at the till point.
• Handle customer enquiries and cash handling.
• Wrap and pack items and assist with general housekeeping.
• Assist with trolley portering and inventory care.
• Support customers with product availability and tips.
