Job summary

Haskins Garden Centres is hiring a part-time Retail Assistant in the Leisure Department, working Saturdays 11am–6pm (6.25 hours) on a permanent basis. You will welcome customers, answer queries across indoor product ranges, help drive sales, maintain stock and displays, and perform general housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail is desirable.
• Involving some heavy lifting; the role can be physically demanding.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a strong customer service ethos.

Responsibilities

• Process POS (Point of Sale).
• Pricing stock.
• Sales ordering and till operation.
• Replenishing stock.
• Display and merchandising.
• General housekeeping duties.
