Job summary

Argos, part of Sainsbury’s, is recruiting a Customer Advisor in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The role is part-time (15 hours per week) with a fixed-term assignment ending 2 January 2027. You will assist customers on tills and at the collection counter, process payments, refunds, and support stock and product queries.

You’ll engage with customers to provide product recommendations, explain financial services options where applicable, and help maintain a fast-paced, friendly store environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Most roles are part-time working across a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Your hours will be scheduled to fit around your availability and may vary from week to week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service at the tills, website screens, on the shopfloor and at the collection counter.
• Collect products from stock, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings and process refunds.
• Be present on the shop floor assisting customers and providing advice on products, supporting in stock room when needed.
• Build knowledge about our products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
