Job summary

Hull City Council seeks 6 part-time Residential Care Workers for adults in Hull. Roles are 16, 20 or 21 hours per week with pro rata annual salaries (£11,427–£11,794 for 16h; £14,284–£14,742 for 20h; £14,999–£15,479 for 21h).

Weekend enhancements may apply; roles are not sponsor-opens to those with right to work in the UK. Roles involve safeguarding, care planning, personal care, and supporting independence within person-centred frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults.
• Undertake duties and responsibilities in accordance with the national minimum standards of care.
• Meet the physical needs of people using our service including personal care tasks.
• Support people with behaviours of concern following care plans and risk assessments.
• Review and implement person-centred care/support plans and risk assessments.
• Create and maintain daily records, mood/behaviour charts and incident forms.
• Attend to domestic tasks and ensure infection control guidelines are followed.
• Cook and serve meals, considering dietary needs and recording food handling.
