Job summary

Neath Port Talbot Council is seeking a committed Support and Resettlement Assistant to provide practical housing and tenancy support within emergency accommodation. The role covers travel across the Borough and possibly other Local Authority areas, supporting families to access services and maintain safe living conditions.

The post is 22 hours per week, 4 days (Tue-Fri) at Beaufort House and Ty Parc Newydd.

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy support, advice service or social care.
• Understanding of issues faced by homeless households.
• Working knowledge of IT.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical housing and tenancy support to households in interim accommodation.
• Ensure a safe living environment and assist with access to support services.
• Travel across the Borough of Neath Port Talbot and nearby authorities as needed.
• Work as part of a dynamic team with supervision and collaboration.
