First impressions matter. As a Part-time Receptionist you play a pivotal role in setting the tone for every interaction. You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Emerald Place Clinic in Surrey will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users.

In this exciting role at Emerald Place Clinic, a service for people with mental health, each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working 15 a week along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.

Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

This role is a part time role of 15 hours a week. Thursday and Friday. 8am-4:30pm.

Where you will be working:

Location: Emerald Place Clinic, Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Horley, RH6 0BN

Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. Young people who are admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs.

These could include mental health conditions such as mood disorders and acute psychosis. Additionally young people may have co‑existing additional needs such as neurodevelopmental disorders, including mild learning disabilities or autism. A young person could also be admitted if they have disordered eating.
