Job summary

Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey is seeking a Night Receptionist to greet visitors, staff and service users and support the Night Manager in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. You will manage diaries for meetings and events, handle telephone calls, emails and post, register visitors, issue badges and conduct security checks, while upholding confidentiality and security protocols.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language Grade C or above.

First impressions matter. As a Night Receptionist you play a pivotal role in setting the tone for every interaction. You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood will experience. Your warm and friendly personality will shine through as you greet and assist staff, visitors and service users.

What you will be doing

In this exciting role at Farmfield Hospital, a service for men 18+ who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviours.

Each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working along side the reception team and Night Manager your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.

Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.
