Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Receptionist to join the Total Security Management Team on site at Darwen Health Centre. This permanent role reports to the Team Leader and Operations Manager, with hours 08:00–13:45 Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings at Barbara Castle Way HC.

You will handle front-of-house duties, support SLA commitments, manage post and courier tasks, and assist with evacuation procedures and customer queries while delivering a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Understanding of AV/IT systems and ability to explain to customers.
• Computer literate with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Clear Health & Safety knowledge and practices.
• Customer focused with strong relationship skills.
• Enthusiastic and conscientious approach to site support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front-of-house service as part of a team.

Job Overview

Mitie has a great opportunity for a Receptionist to join the Total Security Management Team; the Receptionist will be based with one of our prestigious customers. This is a permanent role reporting into the Team Leader and Operations Manager.

The Vacancy is Monday to Friday 08:00 to 13:45 at Darwen Health Centre, with additional hours at Barbara Castle Way HC on Saturday 08:30 to 13:15

Main Duties

• To work as part of a team to deliver a first-class service within the facility.


• To support the Service Level Agreement by ensuring that all Site Support activities are carried out effectively.


• To ensure all customer requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively.


• Provide labour support to ad-hoc out of hours events.


• Internal/external post and courier deliveries/collections.


• Support Emergency Evacuation procedures.


• To support the review of procedures and processes.


• Support with personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS) for less abled guests.

What We Are Looking For

• An understanding of Audio Visual and IT systems and the ability to explain this accurately to customers.


• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail).


• Clear understanding of Health & Safety practices.


• Customer focused with the ability to build positive relationships.


• Enthusiastic and conscientious approach to all Site Support related tasks.


• Clear, strong and confident communication skills.
