Job summary

Swindon Borough Council is seeking an Assistant Programme Manager (SEND Inspection Readiness) to support Education with preparation for a local area SEND inspection. The role involves maintaining the SEND document library, coordinating partner meetings, tracking actions and supporting the self-evaluation framework.

You will work closely with senior leaders across Education, SEND, Inclusion and local partners, ensuring evidence is current and ready for inspection, while coordinating logistics

Qualifications

• Understanding of SEND, education or children's services.
• Fluent English required for customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Support Education service with preparation for SEND inspection and maintain document library.
• Coordinate partner meetings and track actions.
• Support development of the self-evaluation framework and ensure evidence is up to date.
• Assist during inspection by coordinating logistics and post-inspection follow-up.
