Job summary

The County Practice is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse to join our busy team, offering 25–30 hours per week (Wednesday–Friday). The successful candidate will have nursing experience or be keen to move into primary care, assessing patients and delivering health education.

Role involves immunisations, health screening (NHS checks), wound care, ECGs, INR testing, and collaborative work with GPs and other health professionals to maintain protocols and service quality.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
• Three years nursing experience recommended.
• Experience with immunisations and health screening preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide immunisations and vaccinations following guidelines.
• Carry out health screening and NHS Health Checks.
• Provide dietary and lifestyle advice as part of patient education.
• Perform wound care and blood tests (ECG, INR, blood samples).
• Work with GP team to maintain protocols and audit tools.
