The Northolme Practice is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly team across two sites in West Yorkshire. The role is 16-20 hours per week, with the majority on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and may span 2.5 days.

We offer a supportive environment within a well-established practice of about 16,500 patients. The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Degree and UK NMC registration, with experience in general practice or willingness to train.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree or equivalent nursing qualification.
• Current registration with the NMC (UK).
• Experience as a General Practice Nurse encouraged or willingness to train.
• Good IT skills and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide cervical cytology screening, contraception, immunisations and travel vaccines.
• Carry out treatment room duties, wound management, ECG/BP.
• Support junior nursing team and direct healthcare assistants accordingly.
• Ensure standard evidence-based patient care practices across the team.

Formation

Nursing Degree or equivalent nursing qualification

UK NMC registration

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good IT and organisational skills
