Job summary

Tyntesfield Medical Group in North Somerset is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis (18 hours per week: Tuesdays and Fridays, 8:30am–6:30pm). You will perform routine nursing duties, wound care, immunisations, phlebotomy, and patient assessments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in primary care nursing preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine practice nursing services and minor injuries within scope.
• Perform venepuncture and collect pathology samples.
• Monitor stock levels and order clinical supplies.
• Document all patient contacts accurately in the practice system.
• Support chronic disease management and immunisation duties as trained.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to meet patient needs.
