Job summary

The Prince of Wales Medical Centre invites applications for a part-time Practice Nurse role, 2 to 4 days per week, with a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience. A Post Registration GPN diploma or Practice Nursing Degree is required, with strong infection control and stock management skills.

Qualifications

• Need at least 2 years post-registration experience in general practice.
• Flexible shift patterns offered and opportunities for CPD/training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' health needs in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage long-term conditions (asthma, diabetes, COPD) and preventive care.
• Provide wound management, immunisations, cervical screening, family planning, travel immunisations.
• Support infection control and nursing CQC compliance.
• Oversee stock control and liaise with the healthcare assistant.
