Sutton GP Practice is seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse for a part-time position in Sutton. You will join a supportive team alongside GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and admin staff to deliver high-quality primary care.

Responsibilities include health assessments, chronic disease management, immunisations, cervical screening and wound care, while promoting healthy lifestyles and patient self-management. Commitment to CPD and NMC revalidation is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) with Level 1 registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Up-to-date mandatory training relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a busy GP practice.
• Carry out health assessments, routine exams, and chronic disease reviews.
• Administer immunisations, vaccinations, injections, and medications per guidelines.
• Provide cervical screening, wound care, dressings, and other treatment room services.
• Support health promotion and educate patients on healthy lifestyles and self-management.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records using the practice system.
