Job summary

Blackwood Medical Group in Caerphilly is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly team. You will provide patient-centred care, including vaccinations, travel health advice, child immunisations and wound care.

Training will be provided, with a focus on chronic disease management and a multidisciplinary approach. Part-time role with 5 weeks annual leave, pension, free parking, and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience in primary care or general practice is desirable but training will be provided.
• Chronic disease management is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations, immunisations, and travel health advice.
• Child immunisations
• Wound care, dressings and other minor procedures
• Support health promotion and lifestyle initiatives.
