Job summary

Macklin Street Surgery is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team in Derby. You will deliver high-quality clinical services, including health checks, immunisations, chronic disease management and cervical screening, while collaborating with GPs and healthcare staff.

The role involves flexible working patterns and requires excellent communication, organisational and IT skills to support safe, effective care for our patient community.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Immunisation and vaccination training.
• Cervical screening qualification/training.
• Compression therapy training or relevant experience.
• Competent IT skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Time management

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence based nursing care and support management of acute and long term conditions.
• Work with GP team, healthcare assistants and wider practice team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Deliver general practice nursing services including health checks, immunisations and wound care.
• Contribute to improving patient care and supportive practice processes.
