Job summary

Confidential in Knutsford is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join the team and manage payroll for weekly and monthly cycles. The role is around 3 days per week with flexibility in hours, reporting to the Head of Payroll/HR, and based on-site in Knutsford.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of payroll processes, excellent attention to detail and experience with Sage 50.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' payroll experience.
• Strong practical payroll knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills - essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within deadlines.
• Updating the payroll database and time management system with starter and leaver information.
• Processing Tax, NI, SSP and SMP payments and deductions.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee personnel and payroll records.
• Responding to payroll, pay and attendance queries from colleagues.
• Ensuring payroll information is accurate, up to date and compliant.
• Supporting the wider Payroll/HR function as required.
