Job summary

Confidential, Liverpool-based accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join on a part-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will manage weekly and monthly client payroll with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires processing high-volume client payroll, strong communication skills, and knowledge of payroll legislation. Hybrid working options and a range of benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience processing client payroll at high volume, preferably in a bureau.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good systems skills including MS Excel and BrightPay.

My client is an established accountancy practice in Liverpool. Based in a small friendly team you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a PART TIME permanent basis.

Job Description

Reporting directly to Payroll manager you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly client payroll.

Responsibilities

• Full end to end payroll for clients
• Liaising with the firm's clients
• Setting up new starts and processing leavers
• Handling all pay queries
• Inputting working hours and deductions to system
• Using Brightpay

Requirements

• Previous experience processing client payroll at a high volume ideally working within a bureau environment.
• Strong team player
• Good knowledge of payroll legislation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good systems skills including MS Excel, Brightpay
