Job summary

Portfolio Group is recruiting an experienced Payroll Officer for a part-time, permanent role based in Liverpool. Reporting to the payroll manager, you will deliver weekly and monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients and ensure timely, accurate processing.

You will handle end-to-end payroll, liaise with clients, set up new starts and leavers, and manage all pay queries. Strong Excel/BrightPay skills and payroll legislation knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience processing client payroll, ideally in a high-volume bureau environment.
• Strong teamwork abilities and collaboration with clients.
• Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll tasks.

Responsibilities

My client is an established accountancy practice in Liverpool. Based in a small friendly team you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a PART TIME permanent basis.

Job Description

Reporting directly to Payroll manager you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly client payroll.

Responsibilities

• Full end to end payroll for clients
• Liaising with the firm's clients
• Setting up new starts and processing leavers
• Handling all pay queries
• Inputting working hours and deductions to system
• Using Brightpay

Requirements

• Previous experience processing client payroll at a high volume ideally working within a bureau environment.
• Strong team player
• Good knowledge of payroll legislation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good systems skills including MS Excel, Brightpay
