Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited in Liverpool seeks an experienced Payroll Officer on a part-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly client payroll, reporting to the Payroll Manager and liaising with clients.

The role offers hybrid working, a friendly team, group life insurance and pension benefits. You will use BrightPay and Excel, handle leavers and starts, and ensure compliance with payroll legislation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience processing client payroll at a high volume, ideally in a bureau environment.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good systems skills including MS Excel and BrightPay.

Responsibilities

• Full end to end payroll processing for clients (weekly and monthly).
• Liaising with clients to address payroll questions and issues.
• Setting up new starts and processing leavers.
• Handling all pay queries and discrepancies.
• Inputting working hours and deductions into the payroll system.
• Using BrightPay to process client payroll.

My client is an established accountancy practice in Liverpool. Based in a small friendly team you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a PART TIME permanent basis.

Job Description

Reporting directly to Payroll manager you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly client payroll.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with the firm's clients
• Setting up new starts and processing leavers
• Handling all pay queries
• Inputting working hours and deductions to system
• Using Brightpay
