Job summary

The Woodlands School is seeking a Payroll and HR Support Administrator to join a friendly, detail‑focused team in Milton Keynes. The role is 15 hours per week, with flexible Thursdays and Fridays and variable start times.

You will handle monthly payroll tasks, HR admin and staff records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. The successful candidate will have experience with payroll calculations, a methodical approach and strong numerical skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential and you take pride in accuracy.
• Strong numeracy and comfort with payroll information and spreadsheets.
• Able to explain payroll matters clearly and sensitively to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, check and submit monthly payroll information on time.
• Calculate final pay for leavers including holiday entitlement and deductions.
• Identify discrepancies in payroll data and resolve issues before submission.
