Job summary

24x7 Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Passenger Assistant to transport passengers to and from school or day care, working 12.5 to 20 hours per week on a part‑time basis. You will support drivers and ensure safe, courteous journeys.

DBS clearance is required, you must have the right to work in the UK, and First Aid training is preferred. Salary ranges from £560 to £860 per month, with monthly pay and route-dependent earnings.

Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check (DBS) due to work with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training - and willing to undergo additional specialist medical training.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers (SEN or vulnerable children and/or adults) to and from school, college or day care.
• Work in a safe, effective, flexible manner to support company operations.
• Establish positive, professional relationships with passengers, carers/parents, and establishment staff.
• Assist the driver with company vehicles, including cars, 8-seat carriers and wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• Be patient and empathetic, keeping passengers occupied and comfortable on journeys.
