Job summary

24x7 Group is seeking a Passenger Assistant in the United Kingdom to support safe transport for children and adults with needs between home, school, and care facilities. The role involves assisting drivers in various company vehicles and fostering positive relationships with passengers and carers.

The position requires DBS checks, the right to work in the UK, and First Aid training with willingness to undertake further medical training.

Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced criminal record check since you will be working with children, young persons and/or vulnerable adults.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• First Aid Training - and willing to undergo advanced specialist medical training.

Responsibilities

• Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres.
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
• To assist the driver in company supplied vehicles, which includes - cars, 8 seat people carriers and large wheelchair accessible vehicles.
• To be patient and empathic with the passengers and be able to keep them occupied and comfortable on journeys.

Passenger Assistant Role And Responsibilities

Salary: £560 - £860 per month (route dependent)

Hours: 12.5 to 20 per week (varies by route)
