Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in Leicester offers an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Degree Apprenticeship over four years. You will rotate through placements, studying toward a Nuclear Scientist and Nuclear Engineer Degree Apprenticeship standard, while applying real-world engineering knowledge.

You’ll work under mentors, gain experience with PLCs, SCADA, reactor protection and radiological monitoring, and progress toward professional registration within a global company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths, English and Science.
• A Levels with Maths and Physics or another STEM subject, or acceptable alternative.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through 6-month placements across Cavendish Nuclear business.
• Study towards Nuclear Scientist and Nuclear Engineer Degree Apprenticeship standard.
• Apply engineering learning to real-world PLC/SCADA and systems projects.
