Job description

So many good things come in pairs, and these adorable twins are no exception. Now just over a year old, this delightful boy and girl duo are looking for a new nanny as their current nanny is sadly leaving. She speaks highly of the family and the role, making this a fantastic opportunity for a caring and experienced professional.

The family, based in West Kirby, Merseyside, are keen to find a reliable and experienced nanny to join them for two days a week. This role offers the chance to support this lovely family in their journey as their twins continue to thrive and reach new milestones.

You will be providing sole charge care while offering support with daily routines, activities, and developmental play. The family are first-time parents who value someone confident, capable, and passionate about working with young children.

Duties
  1. Care for the twins, including feeding, changing, and planning engaging and educational activities.
  2. Support developmental milestones through stimulating play and age-appropriate activities.
  3. Take the twins to local activities and playgroups to nurture their social and developmental skills.
  4. Manage child-related housekeeping tasks such as nursery cleaning and laundry.

A driver is essential for this role, and the family can provide use of their car. You will also need to be comfortable around pets, as the family has a friendly Golden Retriever.

Further Details
  • Salary: Excellent rate depending upon experience
  • Hours: 10am-6pm (16 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: Permanent, Live-Out
Essential Requirements
  • Fully enhanced DBS check (the agency can assist)
  • Driver's licence
  • Paediatric first aid certification
  • Excellent, checkable references
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a private nanny or childcarer (twins experience preferred)
  • Relevant childcare qualification or certificate
