Job summary

Oxfordshire Mind is seeking a compassionate Wellbeing Worker to support people with mental health needs. This permanent role, based in Oxford City with travel across the area, spans 21.5 hours per week and offers pro rata pay.

You will deliver person-centred wellbeing support, run Advice and Guidance sessions, and facilitate peer groups, short courses and workshops. You will help individuals build confidence, develop practical wellbeing strategies and access support to take positive steps toward

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of mental health issues
• An understanding of safeguarding adults and children best practice
• Experience of working in mental health, wellbeing or similar services
• Experience of working in a demanding environment
• Experience of working as part of a team and communicating effectively
• Experience of working with individuals or groups to identify goals for wellbeing and recovery
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
• Basic IT skills and confidence with software
• Good planning and organisational abilities
• Knowledge/Understanding of organisational values
