Job summary

Milton Keynes College is seeking a passionate Part Time Lecturer to teach Maths Functional Skills at HMP Bullingdon, focusing on Functional Skills from Entry to Level 2. The role is two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday), 8:15–17:00, at the prison education setting.

A recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training) with experience is preferred. The college supports learners with diverse needs and aims to transform lives through learning.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training).
• Experience with diverse learners and needs is preferred.
• Ability to teach Maths Functional Skills from Entry level to Level 2.
• Part-time role with two days a week: Wednesday and Thursday, 8:15–17:00.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths Functional Skills from Entry to Level 2.
• Engage and support learners to achieve qualifications and confidence for employment or further study.
• Contribute to a positive learning experience for learners in custody and on release.
