Job summary

Mercure Salisbury is seeking a Maintenance & Painter to cover general repairs, painting bedrooms and public areas, and keeping the property well maintained.

The role is 24 hours per week across three days (not weekends). You will inspect, repair, and decorate to a four-star standard, working as part of our hotel team and supporting guests with facilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable, able to work on your own.
• Being able to paint and decorate competently.
• Be proud of your work and to be part of a great family of staff at the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property’s facilities and equipment.
• Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action.
• Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way.
• Painting and decorating bedrooms to a four star standard.

Maintenance & Painter

This is a diverse role covering all aspects of general repair from painting bedrooms and public areas, to repairing toilets, changing light bulbs and gardening, no day is ever the same.
