Job summary

Accor in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate in Sheffield. You will clean rooms, bathrooms and common areas to the highest standards and ensure guest rooms are attractive, well stocked and ready for new arrivals.

You should have proven housekeeping experience, good English, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strict hygiene. Training and benefits are provided to support your development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning operations
• Good understanding of English written & verbal
• Able to work alone
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Previous experience handling hotel equipment and guest amenities

Responsibilities

• Cleans and tidies rooms, bathrooms and common areas in line with hygiene rules.
• Ensures rooms look attractive.
• Checks that equipment is in good working order and reports anomalies.
• Ensures guest documentation in rooms is complete and up-to-date.
• Applies the procedure for handling lost property.
• Respects guidelines on the use of cleaning products.
• Handles hotel equipment, welcome gifts and room linen with care.
• Restocks the trolley daily.
• May clear room-service trays and manage the master key.

Job Description

• Cleans and tidies rooms, bathrooms and common areas in line with the rules of hygiene and cleanliness and the procedures implemented by the hotel
• Ensures that rooms look attractive
• Checks that equipment is in good working order, informing the Housekeeper of any anomalies
• Ensures that guest documentation in the rooms is complete and up-to-date
• Applies the procedure for handling lost property
• Respects guidelines on the use of cleaning products
• Handles hotel equipment, complimentary welcome gifts and room linen with due care
• Is responsible for cleaning and restocking the trolley every day
• May have to clear room-service trays
• Is responsible for the "master key"

Qualifications

Proven experience in housekeeping or hotel cleaning operations

Demonstrated experience in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
