Job summary

AccorInvest UK in Cambridge is seeking a hands-on maintenance assistant to keep bedrooms, corridors and public areas fresh and welcoming. You’ll perform painting and decorating tasks, prep surfaces and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing to a great guest first impression.

Job Description

You’ll help keep our hotel looking fresh and welcoming by taking care of the bedrooms and public areas. Whether it’s a quick touch-up or a full refresh, your work will help create a great first impression for our guests.

What you’ll be doing

• Painting and decorating guest rooms, corridors and shared spaces
• Prepping surfaces and applying paint, wallpaper or finishes
• Keeping your work area tidy and safe
• Reporting any maintenance issues you spot
• Working closely with the maintenance team to keep everything in top shape

What we’re looking for

• Someone who takes pride in their work and notices the little things
• Happy working on your own or with others
• Ideally, experience in a similar role
• A positive attitude and a hands-on approach

Please note this position is advertised as a minimum 16-hour-per-week contract, with the possibility of additional hours based on workload.
