Job summary

Bespoke Hotels is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to support our hospitality team with day-to-day upkeep across the property. You will liaise with the Maintenance Manager and Housekeeping, handling internal and external tasks and ensuring safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years' experience in a similar position, basic maintenance skills, and the ability to work weekends. A proactive approach to painting and repairs helps maintain high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• The ideal person will have strong experience, ideally at least 1-2 years in a similar position.
• Ability to deliver great service to our guests.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and Housekeeping department regarding both internal and external maintenance.
• To comply with all statutory and Company regulations relating to Health & Safety, Hygiene, Fire safety and security of the premises and property.
• Ensure that proactive and reactive day to day maintenance work is carried out to the required standards.
• Assist with ensuring that the maintenance work remains in budget and causes little disruption to guests.
• Painting tasks inc, preparing surfaces- cleaning, sanding, filling and painting to a high standard
