Job summary

Elysium Healthcare’s Rosebank House in Reading is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to keep the site safe, well-maintained and welcoming for service users, staff and visitors. You will lead day-to-day maintenance, perform basic DIY and decorating, run planned checks, support health & safety audits and manage contractors for specialist works, ensuring high standards and safe operations.

There is a part-time schedule of 25 hours per week with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience and ability to perform basic repairs and decorating.
• Experience coordinating contractors for specialist works and ensuring safety standards.
• Awareness of health & safety practices and audits.
• DBS disclosure is part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance at Rosebank House and oversee day-to-day repairs.
• Perform basic DIY, decorating and planned maintenance checks.
• Coordinate contractors and ensure safety compliance across site.
