Job summary

ghd hair is seeking a commercially minded Beauty Advisor to join our Selfridges Trafford Centre team. You will deliver exceptional service, build lasting client relationships, and drive sales through engaging experiences.

This 16-hour-per-week role focuses on turning conversations into conversions while representing a premium beauty brand. You will greet customers enthusiastically, promote events and brand activations, and create buzz with in-store experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in sales, business development, or retail.
• Proven track record of hitting commercial targets.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to grow.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Creative thinker with fresh ideas and spotting opportunities.
• Comfortable with data analysis and reporting.
• Passion for beauty, spa, or wellness is preferred but not essential.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Hit and exceed individual and counter sales goals and KPIs.
• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, creating a personalised experience.
• Build authentic relationships in-store to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Promote upcoming events, offers, and brand activations.
• Cross-sell and up-sell across the product range.
• Organise and participate in promotional activities.
• Offer expert tips and techniques to meet individual beauty needs.
• Create your own in-store events to generate excitement and drive traffic.
