Job summary

Caston Church of England Primary Academy is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Supervisor to help run the school dining hall during lunchtimes. The role focuses on supervising children, ensuring safety and wellbeing, and supporting positive mealtime habits.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 12:00-13:00, term-time only, 5 hours per week. A Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred. Visits welcomed; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Ability to work proactively, solo and with colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to give directions confidently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and supervise children in the dining hall, play areas and classrooms.
• Ensure the safety, good behaviour and wellbeing of the children inside and outside.
• Promote a good atmosphere in the dining hall and encourage healthy eating.
• Set up and clear away dining tables and ensure the hall is clean after lunch.
• Offer first aid and health needs support.
