Job summary

St Nicholas CE Primary Academy in New Romney is seeking a reliable Midday Meal Supervisor to support pupils during lunchtime in the dining hall, playground, and wet play areas, helping to maintain a safe, positive environment.

The role is 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks). Training will be provided, and the successful candidate will follow safeguarding procedures and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Experience with children desirable; training will be provided.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• DBS check and safeguarding procedures will be followed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch and playtime.
• Encourage positive behaviour and safe play.
• Assist with setting up and clearing the lunch area.
• Respond to minor incidents and follow school procedures.
• Ensure pupils' safety and wellbeing at all times.
