Qualifications

• Experience working with children
• First aid qualification would be useful but training can be provided

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, encouraging positive behaviour and a calm atmosphere
• Monitor and support pupils on the playground and in other indoor or outdoor areas during lunchtime
• Encourage positive play, helping children to join in games, resolve minor conflicts and build friendships
• Support the smooth running of lunchtimes by setting up or clearing away equipment as needed
• Model and reinforce the school's behaviour expectations and safeguarding policies at all times
• Understand safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing in a school setting
