Horizon Leisure Centres in Havant is seeking a Part Time Lifeguard to help run our busy pool safely and warmly. This 20-hour role includes lifeguarding, assisting customers, and maintaining facilities to high standards.

You will join a supportive team, receive extensive training, and enjoy benefits such as gym access, healthcare support, pension, and generous annual leave. RLSS Lifeguard certificate preferred; full training provided.

Qualificações

• Experience in customer services environment.
• Lifeguard experience in a leisure centre.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Manual handling training desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake lifeguarding and operational duties as directed by the Duty Management Team.
• Welcome and assist customers with general enquiries.
• Maintain facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Ensure the safety of all customers and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
• Set-up and take down of sports equipment according to schedules.

Salary: £12,254.53 - 13,218.40/year

What does the role involve?

• Undertake lifeguarding and operational duties as directed by the Duty Management Team

• Understand and be knowledgeable about our products and services
• Maintain and monitor all facilities to ensure cleanliness is paramount and always free of hazards
• Responsible for ensuring customers are treated with respect

• Responsible for the safety of all customers and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults

Your Experience

• Experience of working in a customer services environment
• Experience as a Lifeguard in a wet and dry centre
• First Aid
• Manual Handling

Your Qualifications

• RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willing to undertake)
• HSE First Aid Qualification desirable
• Certificates in COSHH & Health & Safety desirable

This role will be based at Havant but will be expected to travel to other company site as the need requires.
