BOROUGH OF HAVANT SPORT AND LEISURE TRUST is hiring a Part Time Lifeguard at Havant. You will support the Duty Management Team in operating a first-class leisure facility and ensuring high standards of safety and customer service.

This role involves lifeguarding, basic facilities maintenance, and delivering a welcoming experience to all visitors, with extensive training and development opportunities within a supportive team. Competitive monthly salary and benefits accompany the position.

Qualificações

• RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willing to undertake)
• HSE First Aid Qualification desirable
• Certificates in COSHH & Health & Safety desirable

Responsabilidades

• Use the Horizon HELLO in all customer interactions
• Welcome and assist customers with general enquiries
• Understand and be knowledgeable about our products and services
• Undertake lifeguarding duties and operational duties as directed by the Duty Management Team
• Maintain and monitor all facilities to ensure cleanliness is paramount and always free of hazards
• Responsible for ensuring customers are treated with respect
• Responsible for ensuring staff are treated with respect
• Responsible for the safety of all customers and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
• Set-up and take down of sports equipment according to schedules

Your Role

To assist the Duty Management Team in the operation and presentation of a first-class leisure facility to all Horizon Leisure Centre customers

Your Team

You’ll be working within our Operations Team and directly reporting to the Duty Manager.

Your Responsibilities

• Use the Horizon HELLO in all customer interactions

• Welcome and assist customers with general enquiries

• Understand and be knowledgeable about our products and services

• Undertake lifeguarding duties and operational duties as directed by the Duty Management Team

• Responsible for ensuring staff are treated with respect

• Responsible for the safety of all customers and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults

• Set-up and take down of sports equipment according to schedules

Your Experience

• Experience of working in a customer services environment

• Experience as a Centre Attendant/Lifeguard in a wet and dry centre

• First Aid

• Manual Handling

Your Qualifications

• RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willing to undertake)

• HSE First Aid Qualification desirable

• Certificates in COSHH & Health & Safety desirable

This role will be based at Havant but will be expected to travel to other company site as the need requires.
