Job summary

Temple Mill Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Teaching and Learning Department from September 2026. The role focuses on providing pupil-focused support, enabling access to the curriculum and encouraging confidence in learning.

The successful candidate will work with the Classroom Teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored assistance, monitor progress, and contribute to a positive learning environment within a supportive trust setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in primary settings, preferably with SEN support.
• Ability to follow guidance from teaching staff and SENCO.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils to access the curriculum.
• Work closely with the Classroom Teacher and SENCO to plan effective support.
• Help pupils build confidence and achieve individual learning goals.
