Job summary
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant for the Motor Vehicle Department at Berkshire College of Agriculture, Maidenhead. You will support classes and individuals, help with planning, delivery and evaluation of activities, and assist students to overcome barriers while developing key skills in English, maths and ICT.
The role requires Level 2 GCSEs in English and Maths and experience supporting learners with difficulties such as Autism, ADHD or Dyslexia.
Qualifications
- Experience with young adults in education is desirable.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach to safeguarding & policies.
- Flexibility to work across departments or remotely online if required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, delivery and evaluation of learning activities.
- Help students overcome physical, emotional or learning barriers.
- Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of English, maths and ICT skills.
- Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
- Adapt learning materials and support use of specialist equipment.
- Ensure adherence to college policies on risk management, safeguarding and equality.
