Job summary

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for InspireU Gainsborough. The role involves supporting learners aged 16–24 in Maths, English and Preparing for Adulthood, mainly in 1:1 or small group settings, helping manage behaviour and keep learners engaged.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized and a strong communicator, capable of maintaining accurate records and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic candidates with a pro-active approach to supporting learners.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for accurate records.
• Excellent communication with learners and staff.
• Experience with vulnerable learners is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support learners 1:1 or in small groups during lessons.
• Help manage behaviour and keep learners engaged.
• Assist learners in Maths, English and Preparing for Adulthood.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to team debriefs.
