Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Additional Learning Support Department at Berkshire College of Agriculture Maidenhead. The role is part-time, term time only, 30 hours per week over 37 weeks per year, with a pro-rated salary on Scale G (G17 17,161.78 up to G19 18,374.68).

The role involves supporting students to overcome barriers, planning and delivering learning activities, and assisting with English, mathematics and ICT skills, while

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
• Helping students overcome physical, emotional, or learning boundaries.
• Assisting with assignments, exam preparation, and development of English, mathematics, and ICT skills.
• Monitoring student behaviour.
• Maintaining confidential records.
• Adapting learning materials.
• Supporting the use of specialist equipment.
