Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant for the Berkshire College of Agriculture campus. You will work 30 hours per week across 37 term-time weeks, supporting students to access the curriculum and achieve learning goals.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will assist with learning activities, support across departments, manage records, and help develop English, mathematics and ICT skills while adhering to safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualifications (GCSE A-C) in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties is desirable.
• Positive attitude and proactive approach to learning.
• Ability to work across departments and adapt to remote online work if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
• Support students individually or in small groups according to EHCPs.
• Assist with assignments, exam prep and development of English, maths and ICT skills.
• Maintain confidential records and monitor student behaviour in line with college policies.
