Job summary

Krishna Avanti Primary School is seeking a Learning Coach to support learning across whole-class, small-group and 1:1 settings. The role is part-time (approximately 0.73 FTE) with a November 2026 start, spanning different groups and settings, including pupils with SEND or English as an additional language.

A DBS check is required and visa sponsorship is not available. The Learning Coach will work with teachers, leaders and families to identify needs, observe progress and provide constructive

Qualifications

• Experience of general administrative work such as photocopying and laminating.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to observe, monitor and give constructive feedback on children's progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all students.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning to individuals, small groups and whole classes so every child can access the curriculum and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children and adapt learning to individual needs, including SEND and EAL.
• Work with teachers, leaders, families and professionals to share information, identify needs and contribute to support for learning, development and wellbeing.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful learning environment that supports social and emotional development and encourages participation.
• Respond appropriately to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns.
• Contribute to school life and professional development in line with the Trust's ethos and values.
