Job summary

Krishna Avanti Primary School is seeking a Learning Coach to support children to engage with their learning, build their confidence and progress. You will work with class teachers to provide whole-class, small-group and individual support, adapting approaches to meet learners’ needs.

The role emphasises inclusive practice, safeguarding and collaboration with families and professionals to support wellbeing and development, aligned with Avanti's ethos and values.

Qualifications

• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent level of literacy and numeracy.
• Experience with general administrative tasks and teamwork.
• Ability to observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on children’s progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all students.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning across the classroom, with individuals, small groups and whole classes to help every child access the curriculum and make progress.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with children, adapting learning to meet individual needs, including SEND or English as an additional language.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school leaders, families and professionals to share information and identify needs for effective learning and wellbeing.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful learning environment, supporting social and emotional development and safeguarding concerns.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and your professional development, in line with the Trust’s ethos and values.
