Job summary

Keighley College is recruiting for a Job Coach for Supported Internships to join our team. This part-time role is 30 hours a week, 36 weeks per year, with a pro rata salary of £16,147 rising to £16,612 per annum.

You will support learners with SEND to develop confidence and work-related skills for paid employment, liaising with employers and external agencies. You will also help ensure high-quality service delivery, attend EHCP reviews, and contribute to progress checkpoints and reviews as part

Qualifications

Experience of working with learners with SEND.
Excellent communication skills.
Good knowledge of Equality legislation and the rights of disabled individuals within the workplace.
Level 2 English and Maths or willingness to improve to level 3.
Relevant knowledge of working in the Sector.

Responsibilities

Facilitate employability training prior to the beginning of the Internship.
Provide on-ongoing support in the workplace as required.
Liaise with internal and external agencies/services/employers to provide useful support and opportunities for the student.
Support students in and out of class to attend interviews for permanent jobs.
Represent Supported Internships at events.
Work closely with the central SEND team and contribute to EHCP reviews meetings and ensure progress reviews and checkpoints are completed
