Job summary

LT Selection is recruiting for a confidential specialist education provider. The role supports learners with SEND across Bolton, Salford, Rochdale, Stoke, Macclesfield, Bradford and Halifax, with local travel to employer sites. Salary is £26,169.23 actual (£31,500 FTE). Permanent contract, 37.5 hours, 39 term-time weeks.

Travel between campuses and employer sites is required; DBS check for child workforce is required; benefits to be discussed at screening.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND learners in further education or specialist provision.
• Experience building employer relationships and supporting placements or workplace learning.
• Experience with student records and confidence using Word, Excel and Outlook.
• English and Maths at Level 2, or willingness to achieve them within an academic year.

Locations: Bolton / Salford / Rochdale; Stoke / Macclesfield; Bradford / Halifax. Opportunities are available across these campus groups, with local travel to employer sites.

Salary: £26,169.23 actual annual salary (£31,500 full-time equivalent).

Contract: Permanent; 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5pm; 39 term-time weeks, including the final week of August.

The role

Help learners with special educational needs and disabilities develop workplace skills, confidence and independence. Coach learners during placements, adapt activities to individual needs, review progress with employers and maintain clear records. Support safeguarding and placement safety, and travel between campuses and employer sites.

What you will bring

• Experience supporting SEND learners in further education or specialist provision, including neurodivergent learners and learners with education, health and care plans.
  
• Experience building employer relationships and supporting placements or workplace learning.
  
• Experience with student records and confidence using Word, Excel and Outlook.
  
• English and Maths at Level 2, or willingness to achieve them within an academic year.
  
• Relevant job-coaching or supported-employment training, to be reviewed during screening.
  

An enhanced DBS check for the child workforce is required. Any relevant qualifications and practical arrangements will be discussed during screening.
