Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Infection Prevention and Control Nurse (Commissioned Services) Band 6 in Chester. The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with a pro rata salary of £39,959 to £48,117 per annum.

You will deliver commissioned IPC and TB services, work with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure governance and standards are met. The post requires autonomous practice, strong leadership, and collaboration with NHS bodies, local authorities, and

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with valid pin and registration.
• IPC qualification or willingness to undertake within 6 months of starting.
• A relevant degree or evidence of ongoing study within 2 years of commencing employment.
• Knowledge of Tuberculosis or willingness to undertake training within 6 months.
• Teaching qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist outbreak prevention and management, and infection surveillance.
• Contribute to patient safety reviews, audits and quality improvement.
• Provide specialist IPC advice and education to health and social care providers.
• Work with NHS organisations, authorities and care homes to promote best practice.
