Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is seeking an Infection Prevention Co-Ordinator / Nurse to support IP leadership for the site. The role is 22.5 hours per week, part-time, with training funded to undertake Level 6 credits.

You’ll train and work with the DIPC to lead IP for the hospital and contribute to the quarterly IP&C Committee meetings. Experience is beneficial but not essential as IP training and support are provided; a keen interest in IP and independent work are essential.

• Have a registration with the appropriate governing body and qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC.
• Be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and keen to embrace new ideas.
• Be an excellent communicator and team worker with flexibility for shift patterns.
• Can fully understand each patient's needs and provide individual attention.

Responsabilidades

• Be part of a close-knit team headed by our director of Clinical Services.
• Work directly with senior clinical staff and gain experience with new practices and equipment.
• Interact with practitioners from other departments to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Manage a patient workload in a changing environment.
